George Tickner
born 1862 in Godalming, Surrey a master baker by trade. Son
of Henry Tickner and Mary Ann Heather. He married Elizabeth
Cox on the 3rd October 1882 and they had eight children, mainly
living in the Walton-on Thames area of Surrey.
In this photo he is a helper at the wedding of Miss Lola

Arthur Tickner and Freda Joan Ferris
Married at the beginning of WW2 on 5th October 1940 at St.Stephen's
Church, West Ealing, Middlsex.
Bridesmaids are Mary Warren(left), Margaret Warren and Madeleine
Shakespeare. The Best Man (back far right) was Alec Schofield,
a colleague of Frederick's at the Ealing County Court. Alec
became godfather to their daughter Dreda. During the Wedding,
the air raid siren went off!!
