Frederick Arthur Tickner born 29 Mar 1915 in Brentford, West London. The son of Frederick Arthur Tickner and Fanny Susannah Moss.

Frederick was a Seargent Major ,Royal Engineers in WW2. Before war he was a Clerk of Court -Ealing Police Court. After the war he joined the Judge Advocate General's office, dealing with the Nazi war crime trials.
