The Last will and Testament ofBenjamin Lamboll of Chiddingfold - Proven 12th November 1834

In the Name of God Amen

I Benjamin Lamboll of the Parish of Chiddingfold in the County of Surrey Farmer and Grocer being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind andmemory of my Body and knowing that it is appointed for all Men once to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all I recommend my Soul into the hand of Almighty God that gave it and my Body I commend to the Earth to be buried in decent Christian Burial at the discretion of my Executrix nothing doubting but at the general Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form

First I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth my dearly beloved wife whom I likewise constitute make and ordain the Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament all my personal property together with the Business Stock in Trade Household Goods Debts and moveable effects by her freely to be possessed and enjoyed

I give to my well beloved Son and Heir John Lamboll and his heirs the two messuages and tenements situated at Ramness Common on the same site of Ground one in the occupation of himself and the other in the occupation of William Winson the rents of both to be paid to and enjoyed by my dearly beloved wife Elizabeth during her life and after her demise the sum of two hundred pounds is to be paid by my well beloved son John Lamboll for the benefit of his Brothers after which payment the aforesaid two messuages and tenements and the benenfits arising therefrom will be possessed and enjoyed freely by him & his heirs

Also I give and bequeath to my well beloved Son James Lamboll a piece of Land called Heathers containing about forty Roods more or less situated at Ramoness Common to be enjoyed by him and his heirs

And I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannul all and every other former Testaments Wills & Legacies willed and bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 15th day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand eighteen hundred and thirty three
